Daniel Lane
Lead Engineer
Daniel joined the Next Rung Technology team in the Fall of 2022 after being referred by a team member. As an independent engineering consultant, Daniel spent 10 years helping startup companies develop and commercialize technologies, grow their businesses, and secure funding from both government grants and private equity investors. Before that, he was a process engineer specializing in technoeconomic analysis and process simulation, with a focus on process development and implementation of new technologies.

Hobbies
Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling to new locations and cultivating new experiences. He has earned a private pilot license with instrument rating, brewed beer and cider, built furniture, repaired small engines, and is currently being trained by three rescue cats.
